Enterprise Network Solutions
The circuit is only half the network. How the switching, routing, WiFi, firewall and VPN inside your office are designed decides whether that circuit feels fast or slow, stable or flaky. We design, deploy and integrate the whole thing.
Enterprise network solutions cover the design and deployment of access, switching, wireless, security and interconnection — for one office or multiple sites. Most network problems are not one broken box; they are the result of nobody ever looking at the whole picture.
1. Scope: from one floor to multiple sites
- Office network design: VLANs, IP addressing, switching and routing planned by department, headcount and application — drawn before anything is installed.
- Wireless (WiFi): on-site survey, AP placement and roaming design, guest network separation — so the whole floor is not fighting over one channel.
- Security integration: firewall policy, remote-access VPN and branch interconnection (IPsec / SD-WAN) designed together with the circuit, not bolted on later.
- Multi-site interconnection: HQ, branches, colocation and cloud, including bandwidth allocation and failover paths.
2. Design process: five steps, each with a deliverable
Survey
Rack locations, cable routes, power and space on site; existing devices and topology recorded.
Requirements
Application list, headcount and growth, security and compliance, budget range.
Design
Topology diagram, equipment list, IP and VLAN plan, works description and quotation.
Deployment
Build to the drawing, configure, label and document; cutovers scheduled outside office hours where possible.
Acceptance
Test throughput, roaming, VPN and failover; hand over diagrams and an operations guide.
3. Components we cover
| Layer | Typical scope | How we work |
|---|---|---|
| Access & switching | Access switches, core, PoE | Sized for traffic and redundancy; unified naming and IP management |
| Routing & interconnection | Edge routing, VPN, branch links | Designed before deployment; failover written into the plan |
| Wireless | AP placement, channels, guest SSID | Survey instead of guesswork; acceptance based on measurements |
| Security | Firewall policy, segmentation, remote access | Designed with the circuit; policy review before go-live |
| Cabling & rack | Outlets, patching, labelling, rack tidy-up | Labels match the drawings — no mystery networks |
4. Use cases
New office fit-out
Getting involved before the fit-out is cheapest: cabling, rack, network and telephony planned once, no chasing walls afterwards.
Office relocation
Old-site inventory, new-site pre-build, cutover day and acceptance, run on a T-minus schedule.
WiFi overhaul
Drops in meeting rooms, roaming break-offs, dead corners — survey first, then fix; not just adding APs blindly.
Branch interconnection
Sites that need to share systems and files: point-to-point or SD-WAN design with failover.
5. Circuits versus the network
DIA, broadband and leased lines solve the "getting in" half. The network solution decides whether it is usable inside. When one team designs both, bandwidth allocation, failover and firewall policy never end up in a "not my segment" argument.
6. Support hours and scope
| Item | What we do | What you should know |
|---|---|---|
| Support hours | Mon-Fri 09:00-18:00 HKT, excluding public holidays | 24x7 and resident-engineer options quoted separately |
| Response time | Outages acknowledged within 2 hours; changes scheduled within 1 business day | Acknowledged means started, not resolved |
| Scope | Components we designed and deployed, incl. warranty replacements coordination | Third-party cabling or gear needs an assessment first |
| Excluded | User-purchased equipment setup, unauthorised changes, electrical works | Anything outside scope is quoted in writing first |
7. FAQ
Can we take the design only and build it ourselves?
Yes. You get the topology, equipment list and works description to tender out; we also offer build supervision and acceptance testing.
Do we have to buy equipment through you?
No. Buying yourself avoids bundling markups; sourcing through us means warranty and replacements are handled end to end. The quotation shows both.
We already have circuits — does that conflict?
No. We audit what exists and design around it, and explain options first if anything needs to change.
Is SD-WAN mandatory for multiple sites?
No. Few sites with stable bandwidth: point-to-point is simpler. Many sites with complex application priorities: SD-WAN usually pays off. We recommend based on actual traffic and budget.
Do we get the drawings and documentation?
Yes — topology, IP plan, equipment inventory, credentials and a maintenance guide at acceptance. No "only the vendor understands it" systems.
Have a project in hand? Start with the requirements.
Tell us the purpose, location and timing. We will come back with what is feasible, what it depends on, and an indicative price range.
